Conferences

for all the MEETERS

2 MEETING sessions with Professionals

At Cuneo Dance Meeting, we believe that a dancer’s training does not end in the studio, but is enriched through knowledge and self-awareness.

For this reason, among the new features of 2026, we have decided to introduce two conferences.

Two in-depth sessions, open and free for all Meeters, designed not only to provide useful information, but to guide young dancers along a more complete path.

Taking care of one’s body, understanding its limits and potential, as well as developing a deeper awareness of one’s inner dimension, are fundamental aspects for approaching dance in a healthy, balanced, and sustainable way.

These conferences were created with this very goal: to offer additional tools, encourage reflection, and contribute not only to the artistic growth, but also to the personal development of each participant.

FRANCESCA AMMIRATA

Psychologist and Psychotherapist
with a Cognitive-Behavioural orientation

She uses an evidence-based approach to support individuals toward conscious change.
Her academic path began with a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Community Psychology at IUSTO (Salesian University Institute of Turin), and continued with a four-year specialization in Psychotherapy at the Studi Cognitivi school in Milan. This solid theoretical foundation allows her to address the complexity of human well-being with scientifically validated tools and a comprehensive perspective.
In her clinical practice, she primarily treats mood disorders and personality disorders, areas in which the cognitive-behavioural approach proves particularly effective in providing practical tools for managing distress and regulating emotions.
As a self-employed professional, she works with adolescents and adults, but her commitment also extends to the public health and social sectors. She actively collaborates with various cooperatives, working in community and geriatric settings.
Her activity also spans several specialist fields: sports psychology, working on athletes’ mindset and performance; emergency psychology, providing timely support in critical situations; and healthcare teams, promoting training on topics such as communication and conflict management.
Her goal remains constant: to promote resilience and personal resources through integrated and multidisciplinary support, adapting therapeutic strategies to the specific needs of each person and context.

DAVIDE COSTAGLIOLA

Personal Trainer, Nurse, and Former Dancer
Science in the service of movement

A professional who combines the experience of a dancer with the precision of a nurse and the technical expertise of a personal trainer.
His journey has its roots in the world of dance, a discipline he began practicing at the age of 16, performing on stages in recitals and local productions well into adulthood. It was precisely backstage and during studio hours that Davide developed a deep understanding of movement, gaining awareness of the body not only as a means of expression but as a complex biological system that requires care, maintenance, and solid preparation.
His professional career is built on a rigorous clinical foundation: he graduated in Nursing in 2014 and currently works in the Emergency Department in Alessandria. This background, combined with daily experience in emergency care, allows him to approach movement through an evidence-based lens.
For Davide, training is not only a means to improve performance, but a true pillar of health: a powerful preventive tool that helps counteract disease and ensures long-term well-being for everyone, dancers and non-dancers alike. His passion for biomechanics led him to explore the world of weight training, functional training, and strength development, transforming his own body through natural bodybuilding. The results speak for themselves: in 2025 he achieved 5th place at the Italian Championship and 4th place at the Swiss Championship in the prestigious WNBF federation.
In 2024 he further formalized his expertise by becoming a certified Personal Trainer with Project Invictus, combining scientific research rigor with hands-on field practice.
Currently, at A.S.D. Arabesque, Davide Costagliola puts his experience at the service of a wide and diverse audience, from professional dancers to everyday people who want to improve their quality of life.
His goal is twofold: to break down the persistent prejudices between the world of dance and resistance training, demonstrating how targeted training is essential for preventing injuries and extending an artistic career; and, at the same time, to show how a structured approach to fitness is the key to a healthy, conscious, and long-lasting life for everyone.

GIORGIA GIRAUDO

Physiotherapist and Dancer
Movement, before even clinical practice

She began dancing at the age of 10, and dance is still part of her life today. Over time, she has nurtured this passion with consistency, through classes, competitions, and moments of shared experience. Her training at A.S.D. Arabesque in hip hop, classical ballet, modern-contemporary, and tap dance, along with international experiences such as the Dance World Cup and events like the Cuneo Dance Meeting, have allowed her to develop discipline, teamwork, a passion for movement, and a deep awareness of the body—not only as an expressive tool, but as a complex and constantly evolving system.
It is precisely through direct experience with training and injuries that her interest in rehabilitation was born. Understanding how a proper recovery process can influence the return to both artistic and daily activities becomes one of the driving motivations that leads her toward physiotherapy.
She graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Turin in 2025, enriching her academic path with an Erasmus experience in Brussels at the Haute École Libre de Bruxelles Ilya Prigogine, where she was able to engage with different contexts and develop greater adaptability.
She currently works at “La Residenza,” a Level II rehabilitation facility in Rodello. In her work, she combines her experience in dance with evidence-based rehabilitation skills, with particular attention to the prevention and recovery of movement-related injuries.
For her, physiotherapy is a guide in restoring functionality and the quality of movement, with the goal of supporting each person in returning to safe, effective, and long-lasting movement.
