The Cuneo Dance Meeting is an event organized by A.S.D. Arabesque di Cristina Chirco and originates from the idea of Cristina Chirco, Giada Guerci, Irene Chirco and Giulia Gribaudo.
The fourth edition of this dance workshop will take place in Cuneo from August 26 to 30, 2026 at the Auditorium Foro Boario (Varco Space) and final Gala at Teatro TOSELLI in Cuneo.
The workshop is open to Italian and foreign dancers, from 7 years of age and up.
It is an essential and non-derogable condition for participation in the event that each participant, at the time of registration, submits a copy of a valid medical certificate for the entire duration of the workshop (26–30 August 2026), certifying fitness for non-competitive sports activity.
A.S.D. Arabesque di Cristina Chirco, as organizer of the Cuneo Dance Meeting event, reserves the right not to admit participants to the lessons who have not fulfilled this obligation, without this giving any right to refund of the fees paid.
The submission of this certification is a fundamental requirement to protect the health of the participant and fulfills specific legal obligations of the organization.
Each adult participant must provide a specific declaration and minor participants must be authorized to participate in the event by their parents or legal guardians, according to the procedures provided in the appropriate forms.
Single level (approximately from 10 years and up)
Each level for each discipline may be activated only with a minimum of 10 participants.
During the event, specific Choreographic Workshop (LAB) classes will be held, in classical and contemporary disciplines, dedicated to the preparation of choreographic pieces by the workshop teachers that will be performed during the final Gala, together with the choreographic pieces prepared during tap, hip hop and jazz lessons.
Access to the Workshops is provided only for Meeters of the Class Card including Laboratory and of the Open Card.
As regards Meeters who choose the Open Card, the Workshop is already included in the package price; if the participant cannot take part in the final Gala, the amount will not change and must be paid in full; moreover, specific communication must be given to the direction before the beginning of the event.
The last day of the event will therefore be entirely dedicated to the preparation of the Gala for the final evening, which this year will take place at Teatro Toselli in Cuneo on August 30, 2026.
During the evening, Meeters will have the opportunity to perform, in addition to the choreographic pieces specifically created by the teachers during the classical and contemporary workshops and during tap, hip hop and jazz lessons, also with their own solo or group choreographies.
During the choreographic pieces, Meeters must wear the CDM T-shirt.
Participation in the entire event is subject to the submission of the registration form, accompanied by proof of payment of the registration fee (which also includes insurance and is valid during the event) and the participation fee (which varies depending on the selected package), as well as duly completed and signed authorizations, identity documents of the participants and the medical certificate of fitness for sports activity.
Meeters are given the possibility to choose whether to participate in single lessons, single masterclasses, or to prefer the daily formula, Class Card or Open Card.
The packages include the following:
All participation fees are indicated in the “costs” section of the website: www.cuneodancemeeting.com
A new study opportunity has been included within the event. It is the Pre-Professional Program curated by teacher Kristian Lever, a path dedicated to Meeters interested in deepening a professional path in the world of dance, who are enrolled in the Contemporary Class Card or Open Card package of CDM 2026.
The program is addressed only to advanced level contemporary dancers, in a selected and limited context and accessible only through selection.
The selection, curated by teacher Lever, will take place in person on June 28, 2026 at the premises of A.S.D. Arabesque in Borgo San Dalmazzo, via Fontanelle n. 8, upon reservation, or through submission of a video containing a contemporary solo lasting 2–3 minutes by August 10, 2026 to the contact that will be communicated during registration and audition booking.
The result of the audition will be communicated by email.
In addition to studio training, the Cuneo Dance Meeting this year offers two meeting moments with Professionals with specific expertise, open and free for all Meeters.
The two conferences will offer Meeters additional tools, stimulate reflections and contribute to the artistic and personal growth of each participant.
Applications for participation in CDM 2026 must be received by August 10, 2026, in order to activate the various classes.
If participation requests are received after August 10, 2026, the participation fee will be increased by 10%.
The registration-insurance fee is non-refundable and if a participant is unable to attend the lesson/lessons, they will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the fee paid for those lessons if communication is given by August 20, 2026.
Each participant must fill in the registration form online on the website www.cuneodancemeeting.com, according to the instructions indicated on the website.
During the application, any scholarship must be attached in order for the discount to be calculated (it is specified that in case of multiple scholarships, they cannot be combined and the one with the highest discount will be considered).
Payment must be made by bank transfer within 5 days of registration, to the details provided by the Direction.
Participants are recommended to check the timetable on the website according to level and age.
At the end of the event, a certificate of participation will be issued to each participant and scholarships may be assigned by the teachers, which will be delivered during the final evening.
