Here are the voices of the CDM participants and the words with which they described
the second edition held August 27-30 2025, in the studios of the Varco Auditorium.
A meeting of like-minded and passionate souls who had the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by great Masters from different backgrounds and experiences: Rosanna Filipponi (ballet), Kristian Lever (contemporary and contemporary jazz), Marco D’Avenia (hip hop), Roser Font Caminal (tap), and Tiziano Casu and Tim Stodieck of Choros Ballet (contemporary and hip hop).
At the conclusion of the third edition, a final Gala was held, during which the participants performed some of their own choreographies as well as others created by the Masters who took part in the workshop.
An engaging experience for the dancers who will have an opportunity to study various disciplines with famous Teachers:
The workshop also involves specific training for the little ones, from 7 to 10 years of age, and with adults too from 18 years old and over, even for those with no background dancing.
The levels are:
Classical, Contemporary
Modern Baby
Tap
Hip Hop
Contemporary Jazz
Contemporary and Hip Hop Masterclass with Choros Ballet
During the event, the teachers also conducted dedicated choreographic laboratory classes (LAB), focused on preparing the pieces performed during the Final Gala, held on the evening of August 30. In addition to these choreographies, participants also had the opportunity to perform their own original pieces.
Over the course of its editions, the Final Gala has become one of the most anticipated moments of the entire Cuneo Dance Meeting. Thanks to the choreographic laboratories included throughout the various days, alongside the study classes, participants were given the opportunity not only to learn, but also to present their journey on stage in front of an audience, transforming the educational experience into a true moment of sharing.
The audience—mainly composed of families, friends, and dance enthusiasts—was thus able to see the concrete results of the work carried out, get to know the teachers involved in the project, and also enjoy performances by professional dancers, creating a bridge between training and the professional world.
This edition, in fact, welcomed Federico Tosello as guest of honor, a professional dancer born in Cuneo and raised in Robilante. Having approached dance from an early age, he trained at the major Italian academies, building his professional path with commitment and dedication. Today, he is a professional dancer with the Introdans Company in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
His presence carried a strong symbolic value: showing young dancers that, even starting from a small province, it is possible to achieve one’s dreams when supported by study, perseverance, and passion.
The message conveyed by Federico Tosello fully reflects the mission of the CDM: we deeply believe in the value of a formative experience in close contact with high-level teachers, and we are convinced that the study of dance is not only useful for a possible artistic career, but also represents a fundamental tool for personal growth and for building one’s own life path.
